Case Study
Calm Therapeutic Massage
A complete business management platform for a Virginia Beach massage practice — a marketing site, a full admin console, and Stripe-powered commerce running on one connected system, replacing a scattered mix of separate booking, payment, and email tools.

- •Replaced a scattered mix of booking, payment, and email tools with one admin console covering appointments, clients, services, gift cards, memberships, and content.
- •Added Stripe-powered gift cards, memberships, and payment tracking, with a live Stripe dashboard inside the admin console.
- •Synced scheduling with Acuity while giving the business its own request-to-book flow, automated email and SMS reminders, and an AI chat assistant for visitor questions.
- •Gave the business a connected inbox, blog, and media library inside the same console used to run appointments and payments.
Problem
Calm Therapeutic Massage was running the business out of a handful of disconnected tools — a booking app, a separate inbox, manual payment tracking, and no central place to manage clients, gift cards, or memberships. Every appointment, payment, or client question meant switching between systems that didn't talk to each other.
Approach
Instead of another standalone booking widget, the project was scoped as a full business management platform: a public website for clients, and a private admin console where the owner actually runs the business — both built on a shared API and database so every appointment, payment, and client record lives in one place.
Build
The public site gives clients a request-to-book flow synced to Acuity Scheduling, Stripe-powered gift card and membership purchases, and an AI chat assistant for quick questions — no account required, and installable to a phone's home screen for quick access and booking updates. Behind it, the admin console covers appointments, a client CRM, the service menu, gift cards, memberships, payment records with a live Stripe dashboard, blog and media management, a connected email inbox, site analytics, and staff accounts. SMS reminders through Twilio and email through Resend run automatically in the background, and every integration — Stripe, Acuity, Twilio, Resend — is connected and configurable from inside the admin console itself, not buried in code or a hosting dashboard.
Results
Calm Therapeutic Massage now runs scheduling, payments, gift cards, memberships, client records, content, and communication from one system instead of stitching together separate booking, payment, and email tools. The owner manages the entire operation from a single admin console, and clients get a faster, more automated path from interest to appointment, with reminders and confirmations handled without manual follow-up.

Problem
The business needed more than a marketing website. The platform had to support customer activity, content, operational visibility, and ongoing management.
Solution
CEL3 shaped the public experience and supporting platform architecture so the client could manage the business with fewer disconnected tools.
Business Impact
The result is a centralized system that gives the client more control over daily operations and creates a stronger foundation for future workflow and AI features.
